Vote for The State’s boys high school basketball player of the week
It’s time to vote for The State’s high school boys basketball Player of the Week from Midlands-area schools and games played Feb. 13-18. Voting ends Friday at noon. The winner will be announced on Lou Bezjak’s Twitter page.
This is the final Player of the Week poll of the basketball season.
The nominees are listed below. Please note that these polls are not scientific and are meant to be just for fun.

Alex Atkinson, Jr., Lower Richland: Junior scored 20 points in each of the two Diamond Hornets’ two playoff games last week.
Madden Collins, Jr., Irmo: Junior averaged 21.5 points, 4 assists, 3.5 rebounds in the Yellow Jackets’ two playoff games.
Chrisean Oree, Sr., Keenan: Senior averaged 17 points a game as the Raiders won their two playoff games.
Avantae Parker Sr., Gray Collegiate: Georgia Southern signee averaged 16.5 points a game as the War Eagles scored more than 90 points in each of their playoff wins last week.
Sean Quick-Streeter, Sr., Eau Claire: Senior averaged 28.5 points as the Shamrocks recorded a pair of playoff upsets last week and advanced to the third round for the first time since 2012.
Cam Scott, Jr., Lexington: Junior averaged 27.5 points in helping the Wildcats to the third round of the 5A playoffs.
