Midlands High School basketball players of Week

GIRLS

Unique Drake (Westwood) – Scored 27 points and had 10 rebounds in Tuesday’s win over Lugoff-Elgin.

Jhileya Dunlap (Dreher) – Scored season-high 37 points and averaged 29 points in two Blue Devils’ wins.

Armanii Grice (Ridge View) – Had game-high 24 points in Tuesday’s 61-42 win over Dutch Fork.

Kaitlin Pickens (C.A. Johnson) – Had a pair of 20-point plus games in two of three Hornets’ wins.

Jordan Strange (A.C. Flora) – Sophomore averaged 26 points a game for the Falcons last week.

BOYS

Darius Bryant (Lexington) – Averaged 25.5 points in two Wildcats’ victories, including a 33-point game against River Bluff on Tuesday. Against the Gators, he was 7-of-9 from three-point range.

Juwan Gary (Gray Collegiate) – Had 28 points and 13 rebounds in Friday’s win over Myrtle Beach Christian.

Noah Harper (Spring Valley) – Averaged 27 points in two games over the last week.

Eli Lake (Blythewood) – Scored in double figures in both of Blythewood’s wins last week. Had 19 points, including 11 straight, in Friday’s win over Dutch Fork.

Dre’Von Sweat (Irmo) – Scored 20 points or more in two Yellow Jackets victories.
