Javon Anderson

School: Ridge View

Position: Quarterback

Last Week: Was 15-of-21 passing for 305 yards two touchdowns and rushed for 75 yards in win over Ninety Six.

Tyler Dixon

School: Lugoff-Elgin

Position: Running back

Last Week: In his first varsity action, freshman rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns in win over Midland Valley.

Defensive Player of Week

Darius Bell

School: Gilbert

Position: Defensive lineman

Last Week: Had 11 tackles, including three sacks, four tackles for loss and two quarterback hurries in Friday’s win over River Bluff.

Team of Week

Gray Collegiate

Last Week: Defeated Dreher 24-21 as Hunter Helms hit Chylon Thomas on a 46-yard pass with 41 seconds left. It was the War Eagles’ first win in school history over a Class 4A program.
