Strong start has Dutch Fork football gaining national attention
After a dominating 2-0 start, Dutch Fork football is starting to get some national attention.
The two-time defending Class 5A champions are No. 25 in the latest USA Today Super 25 poll, released Monday. It is the first time since2016 the Silver Foxes are ranked in the poll. They finished No. 21 that season.
IMG Academy (Fla.) holds the top spot in the poll.
Dutch Fork has won 14 consecutive games and won 30 of its last 31. In wins over Spring Valley and Irmo this year, Dutch Fork has outscored its opponents, 121-0.
The Silver Foxes are at Boiling Springs on Friday in a rematch of the 2016 Class 5A title game.
