Dutch Fork’s Stephen Davis has wrist surgery
Dutch Fork senior defensive back and four-star prospect Stephen Davis Jr. had successful wrist surgery Tuesday, according to a report by 247Sports.
According to the report, the Auburn commit broke his wrist earlier this month in a 7-on-7 event in Georgia. Davis told 247Sports he hopes not to miss any games this season. Dutch Fork opens the season Aug. 21 against Greenwood.
“Man I feel horrible and in sooo much pain,” Davis tweeted.
Davis had 46 tackles and an interception last season for the Silver Foxes, who advanced to the Class 4A Division I state championship before losing to Hillcrest. He committed to Auburn in the spring and had offers from South Carolina, Clemson, Florida and North Carolina.
