Spring Valley kicker R.J. Bacon committed to Presbyterian on Monday.
Bacon made his official visit to PC over the weekend. He was scheduled to visit Charleston Southern and Wingate but canceled those after making his choice.
“PC really won me over on the visit, the coaches and players were great to not only me but also my family,” Bacon said. “The academics are outstanding and I have the opportunity to impact the team as a freshman.”
Bacon was a North-South selection and was the Palmetto Champions Big 16 Specialist of the Year. He averaged 44.6 yards a punt this season and was 4-of-6 on field goals with a long of 43 yards.
