Fireflies get washed out, again

For the second day in a row, the Columbia Fireflies and Charleston RiverDogs game was postponed by rain.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader to be played Wednesday at 10 a.m. The games each will be seven innings. Gates will open at 9:30 a.m.

Tickets for Tuesday’s Fireflies game can be exchanged for a future Fireflies game during the 2017 regular season. This exchange must happen at the Fireflies ticket office and is based on availability.

Wednesday will be the last game of a seven-game homestand for the Fireflies. Columbia will begin a four-game series at Lexington on Thursday.
