Fireflies game in Kentucky postponed by bad weather

LEXINGTON, Ky. Saturday’s game between the Columbia Fireflies and Lexington Legends was postponed because of rain.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 12:05 p.m. at Whitaker Bank Ballpark – two seven-inning games. Game two is scheduled to follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Left-handed pitcher Jake Simon (1-2, 7.20) is slated to start game one for Columbia. Righty Harol Gonzalez (2-3, 5.59) will take the hill for game two.

The Fireflies (23-22) fell to Lexington on Friday, 5-2.
