RiverDogs score in 10th inning to defeat Fireflies
The Charleston RiverDogs scored a run in the 10th inning Monday to defeat the Columbia Fireflies 5-4 at Riley Park.
Hoy Jun Park walks to lead off the inning, was sacrficed to second by Diego Castillo and scored from there when Donny Sands struck out swinging, but reached base on a throwing error by catcher Dan Rizzie.
Andres Gimenez, Jacob Zanon, Rizzie and Ian Strom had two hits each for the Fireflies.
