Fireflies offense explodes in win against GreenJackets
Arnaldo Berrios doubled and singled twice as the Columbia Fireflies topped the Augusta GreenJackets 12-5 on Wednesday.
Columbia had a pair of big innings in the blowout victory, scoring six runs in the first inning and four in the eighth.
In the first, Jay Jabs hit a bases-clearing triple, while Brandon Brosher hit a two-run double in the eighth.
Columbia right-hander Colin Holderman (2-3) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing three runs on four hits over six innings.
