In the second game, Columbia scored three runs in the top of the seventh to pull out a 3-2 win.

In the first game, the Fireflies (3-3) got enough offense in the second inning on a two-run double by Ivan Wilson en route to a 3-2 victory.

Thompson added an RBI double in the third inning, which gave Tyler Badamo all the cushion he needed on the mound. Badamo got the win, allowing one run on five hits in six innings. Johnny Magliozzi threw a perfect seventh inning to earn the save.
