Another night, another ninth-inning rally.

This time, the Columbia Fireflies exploded for five runs in their final at-bat and went on to capture a 7-3 win over Greenville on Saturday for their fourth straight victory.

Jeff Diehl highlighted the late burst with a three-run home run with two outs in the ninth inning. That shot came after RBI singles by Tucker Tharp and Vinny Siena.

Siena finished with two RBIs, while Vicente Lupo also drove in a run. The Fireflies had 10 hits, and four of their runs came with two outs.

That was enough offense late for Seth Davis, who picked up his first win after throwing 2 1/3 innings and allowing no hits while walking one and striking out two. Tyler Badamo threw 6 2/3 innings, giving up three runs on seven hits with five strikeouts.

This was the third straight comeback win for Columbia at Fluor Field.
