Should the Panthers panic after Jets preseason loss? You know the answer

The Carolina Panthers lost to the New York Jets in their 2023 preseason opener, and it wasn’t particularly pretty.

The loss prompted the offensive line to have a postgame meeting to address the unit’s “not acceptable” play. It also spawned questions about third-string quarterback Matt Corral, and saw a bunch of injuries from which the team is still reeling.

The good news? The Charlotte Observer’s podcast that covers all things Panthers — “Processing Blue” — is here to break it all down. Host Langston Wertz Jr. sits down with Panthers beat writer Alex Zietlow to discuss all the storylines with the Charlotte-based NFL franchise heading into the team’s second preseason game against the New York Giants on Friday.
