A romantic ride in the sky

Everyone knows Saturday is Valentine’s Day.

But did you know it’s also National Ferris Wheel Day?

It a great time to spotlight one of the largest ferris wheels east of the Mississippi, right here in South Carolina – the SkyWheel in Myrtle Beach.

SkyWheel whisks riders to a vantage point of roughly 200 feet at the top – about 20 stories above the Atlantic Ocean. From there, riders can take in delightful views up and down the Grand Strand and along the 1.2 mile Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade.

At sunset, take in a romantic ride over the ocean. Then, linger to watch the wheel’s nightly light show.

There is much to take in.
