Join Kermit, Miss Piggy and friends for ‘All Together Now!’
Usually if you try to sing along at a movie you get shushed a lot.
Not this time. Not Sunday at Harbison Theatre.
“All Together Now!” is a sing along with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and friends at Heather Henson’s interactive film experience, featuring the original Muppet Movie.
Kids of all ages are encouraged to laugh, dance and sing along as the lovable furry creatures come to life on screen, enhanced by interactive playtime with live actors, singers and puppeteers on-stage.
Not only will kids (of all ages) get to sing, but they also will be encouraged to use the beepers, squeakers, streamers, balloons and other stuff they will receive in a goodie pack.
“This show is all about smiles and laughter and making memories with people you love,” said Katie Fox, executive director with Harbison Theatre, as she sat at her desk wearing a glow-in-the-dark necklace from a goodie bag.
“The film is charming and funny for fans of any age. ... Led by a team of Muppeteers and musicians, this promises to be a celebration full of surprises!
“You don’t have to be a kid to love this experience,” said Fox. “Much like our Harry Potter Pops Concert last fall, this event revolves around characters who connect with children and adults.”
Tickets are $15. The show begins at 3:30 p.m. at Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College Harbison campus, 7300 College St., Irmo.
