Monday: Columbia restaurants offering special pies, prices for Pi Day
Celebrate the mathematical constant pi (numerical equivalent is approximated to 3.14) by discussing the significance of the number – it has been calculated to more one trillion digits beyond its decimal point.
Better yet, celebrate Pi Day on March 14 by eating slices of your favorite pie: apple, chocolate, lemon or a combo pizza pie.

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza will be offering artisanal pizzas for $3.14 each. 275 Park Terrace Drive off Bower Parkway,
Nonnah’s will be offering apple, peanut butter and bourbon pecan pies on the menu. 923 Gervais St.
Kaminsky’s Dessert Cafe will have an assortment of pies rotating throughout the day and slices of everyone’s favorite Toll House Pie for $3.14 a slice from 5-8 p.m. 930 Gervais St.
