The Lexington Cotillion presented six debutantes at the 2017 Holiday Ball on Dec. 16 at the Embassy Suites Greystone in Columbia. Members and their guests were greeted by Mr. Barry W. Clark, president, and Mrs. Clark, the debutantes and their mothers.
Miss Graci Jane Conner is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Darin Shane Conner. Her escorts were Mr. Fenegan Shane Conner and Mr. Cody Lane Downey.
Miss Ashley Whitworth Fellers is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Stearns Fellers and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Alvin Whitworth. Her escorts were Mr. Alexander Stearns Fellers and Mr. Sean Patrick Powers.
Miss Caroline Manning Higgins is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sean David Higgins. Her escorts were Mr. Christopher Matthew Cooke Jr. and Mr. Benjamin Rucker Rosenthal.
Miss Catherine Hood Kirkland is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Henry Kirkland. Her escorts were Mr. Stephen Wilson Kirkland and Mr. Aaron Joseph Adams.
Miss Lauren Elizabeth Matthews is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Gregory Matthews. Her escorts were Mr. Cameron Gregory Matthews and Mr. Ryan Matthew Brown.
Miss Sara Kalyn Perrero is the daughter of Mrs. Pamela Kay Perrin Carver and Mr. Steven John Perrero and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Douglas Perrin. Her escorts were Mr. Graham Martin Jacobs and Mr. Luke Patrick Jacobs.
Two sons were recognized at the Ball. Mr. Turner Bryan Neal is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Bryan Neal. Mr. Davis Durden Cousar is the son of Dr. Carrie Davis Cousar and Mr. Michael Durden Cousar and the grandson of Mr. George Hearn Davis and the late Mrs. Alecia Philpott Davis.
Following the presentation, members and guests enjoyed a seated dinner and an evening of dancing.
