Shop Around: Fresh Market coming to Lexington

A Fresh Market will be coming to Hwy. 378 in Lexington, a Town of Lexington Planning Commission member confirmed to The State on Thursday.

The upscale grocery store will be joining Hobby Lobby in the 143,000-square-foot shopping center that will be located next to La-Z-Boy in the 5300 block of Sunset Boulevard.

The planning commission approved a plan for the site at its meeting on Wednesday where Columbia Development announced the location will include Fresh Market. Ulta salon and cosmetics has also expressed an interest in the location, the developers said, as have several other soon-to-be-named businesses that together will occupy 18 acres of the 24-acre tract of land.
