Mr. D’s Steakhouse closes in Lexington

Mr. D's Steakhouse in Lexington has closed for business after just nine months in operation.

The restaurant opened in the former Gilligan's location at 938 N. Lake Drive last March. Lexington Mayor Steve MacDougall served as the restaurant's general manager. MacDougall told The State in an email on Thursday afternoon that he was unsure of any plans for a future restaurant in the area.
