A fire at a Lexington County business on Saturday injured two people and caused more than $300,000 damage to the business, according to county officials.

The fire happened Saturday afternoon on the 400 block of Truex Road in the Batesburg-Leesville area, according to Lexington County.

A civilian and a firefighter were taken to a hospital for heat exhaustion, officials say. The fire caused about $300,000 damage to the business, Buck’s Frame and Alignment, and to vehicles parked outside the business.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
