The Benedict College Tigers took on the Livingstone College Blue Bears on Saturday, but not before just about everyone but the players took on some tailgating.
The annual Palmetto Capital City Classic isn’t just about football, although the fans, for a while, anyway, might think it is. 
Alumni, students and FOBs (Friends of Benedict) also found ways to socialize all week in events leading up to the game, with the Drumline performance, the Garnell McDonald Memorial Golf Tournament, an alumni mixer and the R&B Ole School Funk Fest attracting crowds almost every day.
