Woman charged with cutting husband with a knife on Valentine’s Day
A woman cut her husband several times with a knife early Valentine’s Day morning when he tried to stop her from cutting his tires, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded at about 3 a.m. Sunday to the 400 block of Sheridan Drive in reference to a domestic dispute, where they found the victim and his wife, Vivian Jeffery, 53, according to a news release. The victim had been cut several times in the upper body.
Jeffery has been charged with criminal domestic violence. Her husband was transported to Palmetto Health Richland for injuries that are not life-threatening, sheriff’s department spokesman Lt. Curtis Wilson said.
