Four men charged in Kershaw County prostitution sting
Four men were arrested Friday during a prostitution sting by the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Jim Matthews said on July 24 deputies conducted on undercover operation online where numerous subjects were contacted by an undercover officer to meet in Lugoff for paid sexual favors.
Matthews said Corey James Gripper, 44, of Lugoff, Antonio Adrian Perez, 34, of Lugoff, Quinton Jamal Shaw, 28, of Sumter and Lucious Levon Green, 51, of McBee were each charged with solicitation of prostitution.
The penalty upon conviction for solicitation of prostitution includes a $200 fine or 30 days in jail. The four suspects were transported to Kershaw County Detention Center and have posted bond and been released. Each of the men have a prior criminal history.
