Unidentified body found by authorities in SC lake. Here’s what we know
An unidentified body was recovered from a lake by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and the S.C. Department of Natural Resources, according to a news release.
The body was retrieved from Windsor Lake, near the 1400 block of Oakcrest Drive, on Friday at around 12:45 p.m., the release said.
While there were no clear signs of trauma located on the body, the cause of death is unknown, pending an autopsy by the Richland County Coroner’s Office, according to the release.
No other information was available as the investigation is ongoing.
