Two Lexington men charged with murder
Lexington authorities have charged Charles Alton Morehouse and Wiley Eugene Sisk with murder in connection with the Aug. 3 shooting death of James David Porter III along Old Orangeburg Road.
Both Sisk and Morehouse were believed to have been present when Porter was killed, Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said in a news release Friday.
Morehouse, and Morehouse’s wife, Crystal Elizabeth Morehouse, also face drug charges, Koon said.
Investigators allegedly found methamphetamine and a large amount of cash in the Morehouse home during a search. They were charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
