Newberry County Sheriff’s Office to hold ninth annual prescription drug “Take Back” campaign
NEWBERRY COUNTY, SC The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office will be holding its ninth annual “Take Back” campaign on Sept. 26, allowing county residents to take any unwanted or expired prescription drugs and give them to the sheriff’s office.
Residents will be allowed to drop off prescription medications at the sheriff’s office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The service is free and is aimed to help prevent prescription drug abuse as well as getting rid of unwanted or expired pills.
The sheriff’s office is located at 550 Wilson Road in Newberry.
