UPDATE: Man dies after shooting near Bluff Road

Richland County deputies reported a man who was shot on Tavineer Drive near Bluff Road Tuesday night died from his injuries.

Deputies are investigating a fatal shooting south of Interstate 77 off Bluff Road.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired on Tuesday afternoon on the 4100 block of Tavineer Drive to find a man shot in the upper body, Richland County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Curtis Wilson said.

The victim was taken to Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital, Wilson said.
