Columbia man dies after Thursday shooting

Richland County coroner Gary Watts identified the 22-year-old Columbia man who died about an hour after being shot at 716 Zimalcrest Drive in Columbia Thursday evening.

Antago Jennings of Denny Road died at 7:31 p.m. in the emergency room at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
