Donquiese D. Green, 23, of Columbia, was killed in the Saturday incident from a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts. A second victim, who has not been identified, was shot and remains in the hospital.
Witnesses said Green and the second victim were shot after several men in a silver or grey-colored vehicle drove up to the 3400 block of Magrath Street near Colonial Drive where several people had gathered around 12:15 p.m. The three men in the vehicle got into an argument with Green and the second victim, fired and drove away.
