Richland deputies investigate after home shot up on Woodfield Drive

Deputies are investigating after a home was shot up not far from Interstate 77 in Richland County on Monday evening.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department responded to an attempted murder in the 1900 block of Woodfield Drive just after 8 p.m., sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Curtis Wilson said. Deputies found five victims in the home, ranging in age from 15 to 56 years old.

The house, as well as two vehicles, had multiple gunshot holes, Wilson said. There were no injuries reported.

The sheriff’s department continues to investigate. Officials have asked that anyone with information call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
