Police say a man broke into Wal-Mart on Garners Ferry Road early one morning in July and stole thousands of dollars worth of iPads and other electronics.

The man broke into a back entrance at the store and stole $10,000 worth of goods, police said. The incident happened at about 2 a.m. July 17. The Columbia Police Department released surveillance images of the man Thursday, asking for the public’s help in identifying him.

Investigators have asked that anyone with information contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
