His former colleague wished him a happy birthday and Trey Gowdy shot back
South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy gets a lot of grief about his hairdos.
When his former colleague, now-director of the Office of Management and Budget, Mick Mulvaney wished him a Happy Birthday on Tuesday, Gowdy shot back with a curt response.
What do you get for someone on his 60th birthday? A razor and a comb.

Happy birthday, @TGowdySC. pic.twitter.com/ZNWaPHZl7c
I'm just a couple of haircuts away from equaling the number of staff departures by your WH colleagues. I get it. You are hard to work with. https://t.co/sN0dg8ahrU

A Washington Examiner columnist wrote about the exchange Tuesday night. Gowdy told the newspaper “Mick won’t even fund Meals on Wheels. He surely isn’t going to pay for someone else’s haircut.”
The two tea party Republicans from South Carolina are both supporters of President Trump.
