Third post-New Hampshire poll shows Trump leading in SC
A third straight poll released since the New Hampshire primary shows Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump continuing to lead South Carolina.
The New York billionaire received 35 percent of support from likely S.C. Republican primary voters in the poll from American Research Group.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich was a surprise in second at 15 percent, his best showing in a S.C. poll. He finished second in New Hampshire.
U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida was next 14 percent followed by U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas at 12 percent, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 10 percent and retired Maryland neurosurgeon Ben Carson at 2 percent. Cruz won the Iowa caucus.
Trump, who won the New Hampshire primary, has led in 21 of the last 22 S.C. polls since late July.
