She said yes! Former SC first lady Jenny Sanford is engaged
South Carolina’s former first lady Jenny Sanford announced she was engaged on Tuesday through social media.
In an Instagram post, Sanford posted a picture with the caption, “yes.” Her post was flooded with congratulatory comments from her followers and friends.
“Dancing for you and the one who has captured your heart,” wrote one Instragram user.
Sanford told The Post and Courier that she has been dating her future husband, Andy McKay, for 15 months. McKay is an investment banker who was introduced to Sanford by her sister, according to the paper.
Sanford went through a very public divorce from now-U.S. Congressman, then-S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford in 2010.
