President Obama in SC Friday for Pinckney eulogy

President Barack Obama will fly to Charleston Friday to deliver a eulogy for state Sen. Clementa Pinckney, pastor at Emanuel AME Church, where the Jasper County Democrat and eight parishioners were shot to death last week.

Who: Obama and first lady Michelle Obama also will meet the victims’ families. Vice President Joe Biden, House Speaker John Boehner and Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton also will attend the funeral service at TD Arena.

When: A tribute program starts at 11 a.m. The service, including Obama’s eulogy, begins at 1:45 p.m.
