Most people do not think of diapers until it is time to change a dirty one. But for some families, the constant need for diapers is costly. So costly in fact that families must choose between providing diapers or other essentials such as food, gas and lights.

Babies living in environments in which finances are strained are more likely to suffer abuse and neglect. Additionally, they are more prone to illnesses as a result of diapers not being changed on a regular basis.

Power In Changing, a nonprofit diaper bank in West Columbia, is a beacon of light for families in need. Not only do we provide diapers, we also want to empower families and aid them with the tools necessary for achieving independence. Our efforts are supported solely through donations. If you are interested in hosting a diaper drive, giving a monetary donation or volunteering, please email us at info@ powerinchanging.org.
