Clemson coach Dabo Swinney and secondary coach Mike Reed met Thursday with defensive back Romeo Finley at his school, their final in person meeting with him before he makes his decision next week.

Finley, who also Thursday met with Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson, will visit Miami this weekend.

"It went really well," he said of his meeting with Swinney and Reed. "They just stopped by to see where I'm at with things and all that good stuff. They were going to come by my house but coach (Swinney) had a midweek come in and had to go back and tend to that. He wants me to decide and if I'm for him then let him know. I'm very high on Clemson. Me being the last guy they visited, that's big. That tells me they want me, coming all the way down to Florida. I'll guess we'll see by this weekend."

Finley said Johnson was seeking the same information related to where he stands with his decision. He said Clemson, Georgia Tech and Miami are still in it. He plans to make his decision Monday or Tuesday with an announcement time of 6 p.m. on one of those days.

Finley has Georgia Tech out front but said, "As signing day looms, we'll see what happens."
