Brandon McIlwain: How USC’s spring football practice dates match up with baseball games
South Carolina freshman Brandon McIlwain will juggle spring football practice with baseball this spring.
USC baseball coach Chad Holbrook has said McIlwain will be available for all football practices and will participate in baseball when time permits.
The Gamecocks will hold 15 spring practices between March 15 and April 9, including the spring game April 9.
USC has 13 baseball games scheduled for the same day as a spring football practice, including nine SEC games.
It’s possible McIlwain could participate in practice during the day and play a baseball game later in the evening, depending on what time practices are held.
