Tricep injury sidelines Rory Anderson
Senior tight end Rory (Busta) Anderson, South Carolina’s third-leading receiver with 18 catches for 204 yards, is expected to miss at least two weeks after suffering a tear in his left triceps muscle, Spurrier said.
Anderson suffered a tear to his right triceps in spring practice and took more than three months to fully recover.
“That was some bad news we received yesterday,” Spurrier said. “Busta was having a good year, an excellent year. Jerell Adams now will probably be the tight end and get a few more balls thrown his way.”
Adams has six catches for 145 yards this season.
Linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams (concussion), defensive end David Johnson (knee) and tailback Brandon Wilds (ankle) all are expected to play Saturday.
