Gamecocks’ remaining football schedule second toughest in nation
South Carolina’s path to a winning season is going to be tough. Very tough.
The Gamecocks (3-4) have the nation’s second-hardest remaining schedule against FBS opposition, according to win-loss percentage.
USC’s remaining four FBS foes are 18-5 overall, or have a winning percentage of 0.783. The team closes out the season at Texas A&M and at Tennessee, then home against Florida, The Citadel (a 4-2 FCS squad) and Clemson.
Only Minnesota has a tougher schedule, with future opponents 26-6 (0.813). Six of the top 10 toughest remaining schedules belong to SEC teams.
