Former South Carolina running backs coach Everette Sands has a new job.

Sands confirmed the move by updating his Twitter profile and indicating his new job at UTSA.
Sands is from Conway and is a Citadel graduate. He worked for the Gamecocks under Steve Spurrier from 2012 through 2015.
He becomes the seventh member of Spurrier’s 2015 staff to find a new job in coaching, joining linebackers coach Kirk Botkin (S.C. State), offensive line coach Shawn Elliott (South Carolina), defensive co-coordinator Lorenzo Ward (Fresno State), defensive co-coordinator Jon Hoke (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), defensive line coach Deke Adams (East Carolina) and special teams coordinator Joe Robinson (Texas Tech).
Quarterbacks coach G.A. Mangus and wide receivers coach Steve Spurrier Jr. have not yet landed other coaching jobs.
