Decision day arrives for CJ Freeman
South Carolina commitment running back C.J. Freeman of Greensboro, N.C., will announce a final decision Tuesday night at 7:30.
Freeman has not decommitted from USC, and he took his official visit over the weekend. But he has said his decision is down to the Gamecocks, Wisconsin, Louisville and Georgia Southern.
Ole Miss commitment linebacker Donta Evans of Orangeburg and Lawrenceville, Ga., said he is sticking with his commitment to the Rebels and will start school there Jan. 15. Evans was contacted by new USC assistant Bobby Bentley last week but said it's too late in the process for him to reconsider his plans and he's happy with his decision to go to Ole Miss.
USC target defensive back Daniel Thomas of Montgomery, Ala., was offered Monday by Maryland.
USC commitment offensive lineman Lloyd Cushenberry took an official visit to Minnesota over the weekend.
