Going green for green
COLUMBIA BAROQUE GALA: 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Spring Valley Country Club, 300 Spring Valley Road. The theme for this year’s fundraiser is “Going Green.” The event will feature Irish music by Celtic harpist Leah Trent accompanied by Jean Hein, Baroque recorder, refreshments, silent auction, cash wine bar and door prizes. Proceeds support Columbia Baroque Main Stage concerts, education concerts and bringing nationally recognized guest artists to town. Tickets are $30; http://columbiabaroque.com

USC SUMTER NATURE WALK: 8:30-9:30 a.m. Monday at Swan Lake Gardens, 822 W. Liberty St., Sumter. Join USC Sumter and naturalist Austin Jenkins for a saunter through the gardens to welcome back the wonders of nature from a long winter rest. Free; bring binoculars. (803) 436-2640

A key event for Trustus
TOASTING THE IVORIES: Fundraiser to help purchase the new piano for The Cabaret at Marv’s, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Trustus Theatre, 520 Lady St. Event will feature signature drinks from Bourbon, the piano talents of Christopher Cockrell, Andy Zalkin, Tim McLendon and Samuel Eli McWhite. Vocals by Kristian Niemi, Vicky Saye Henderson, Patrick Baxley and Courtney Selwyn. Twenty-four piano keys can be sponsored, ranging from $200-$1,500 each, with big money for the keys closer to the middle C. The goal is to raise $10,000. Free admission, cash bar.
