Heading to the Carolina Cup in Camden? Take along our board game
The “world’s largest cocktail party,” otherwise known as the Carolina Cup, commences Saturday in Camden.
The sea of Lily Pulitzers and seersuckers are a sure sign of spring in the South. Thousands of horse lovers descend on the Springdale Race Course for an afternoon of steeplechase racing. It’s also a party lovers’ paradise.
To get you through some of the down moments of the day, we’ve created a board game.
The rules:
Use a bottle cap as your game piece, and download and print out this board game to the Carolina Cup to play along between the races.
Be sure to bring a die or a pair of dice along (or download a dice app).
Place your bottle cap at one of the gates to begin, and move counter-clockwise across the board. Whoever gets to the infield first wins.
If you land on a square connected to a blue pathway, you have to take the pathway. But you can only take a pathway if you land on that square.
If you make it around the whole board without getting to the infield, keep going until you do!
If you go:
