Upcoming concerts and events in the Midlands
Def Leppard is coming to the Colonial Life Arena in October.
The heavy metal band headlines a tour with Foreigner and Night Ranger Friday, Oct. 16.
Def Leppard, coming off a massive tour in 2014 with KISS, has such mega-hits as “Rock of Ages,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Foolin.”
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at www.LMCtix.com, at the Lexington Medical Center box office inside the Colonial Life Arena or at Play It Again Sports.
Singer James Taylor is coming to the Colonial Life Arena on July 29.
Taylor brings his All-Star Band for the show.
Taylor, one of the greatest singer-songwriters of the 20th century, has such hits as “Carolina in My Mind,” “How Sweet It Is” and “Fire & Rain.”
Ticketholders get a copy of Taylor’s new album, “Before This World,” which comes out on June 22.
