Swap your crops

SPRING PLANT EXCHANGE: 10 a.m. Saturday at the Cayce City Hall Complex, 1800 12th St. The annual event is a good way for both new and experienced gardeners to educate themselves on a variety of gardening tips and tricks while collecting a new crop of plants for their gardens and outdoor spaces. Bring any plant that can be potted or transplanted, including seeds, bulbs, clippings/cuttings, potted plants, shrubs or trees to share. You don’t have to bring a plant to participate.

It’s a small world

COLUMBIA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday in the Cantey Building at the State Fairgrounds, 1200 Rosewood Drive. Shopping for the garden

S.C. IRIS SOCIETY SHOW AND PLANT SALE: 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the Greater Columbia Garden Council Building, 1605 Park Circle (Maxcy Gregg Park). Free and open to the public, rain or shine. An assortment of iris and garden plants will be available for sale; come early for best selection (803) 776-0474
