Columbia Animal Services’ 12 strays of Christmas need a home

The 12 strays of Christmas.
The 12 strays of Christmas. tdominick@thestate.com

The thousands of dogs, cats, horses and other pets taken in each year by Columbia Animal Services want just one thing for Christmas: a loving forever home.

If you’re thinking about adding a dog or cat to your family, consider rescuing one of the dogs below, or stop by the Columbia Animal Services at 127 Humane Lane to visit with one their sheltermates.

If you don’t have the time or space to devote to a pet of your own, any donation of money, dog food or even old blankets and clean newspapers, will help make Christmas a whole lot better for these sweet furballs.
