Bravo’s new ‘Housewife’ is from Hilton Head; one of three new reality stars from SC
Not long ago we introduced you to Codi Butts, South Carolina’s new reality TV star by way of MTV’s Jersey Shore spinoff, “Floribama Shore.” Now it looks like Butts will have to share that southern spotlight because there are three new reality stars with ties to South Carolina.
‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’
Meet Teddi Jo Mellencamp Arroyave, daughter of famous “Jack & Diane” crooner John “Cougar” Mellencamp and the newest housewife on Bravo TV’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Born in Bloomington, Ind. but raised on Hilton Head Island, Mellencamp is married to Edwin Arroyave, CEO of Skyline Security Management, who was named one of the “Top 20 under 40” for Security System News in 2014. The two were married in 2011 and have two children together. And although Mellencamp’s father’s estimated net worth of $25 million dollars was easy enough to find, we weren’t able to track down her nor her husband’s net worth (yet!).
In addition to being a wife and mom, the former nationally ranked professional equestrian also owns her own business, La Workout Junkie. According to the site, the company offers “accountability coaching” to help clients reach their fitness goals through daily check-ins and motivation.

‘The Bachelor’
As we previously reported, two of the 29 women competing for ABC’s newest “Bachelor” Arie Luyendyk Jr. hail from South Carolina.
Brittany T. is a 30-year-old tech recruiter from Columbia (living in Austin, T.X.). According to her online bio, one of her favorite foods is poke bowls and says she sees herself married with two corgis in five years.
Nysha is a 30-year-old orthopedic nurse from Belton, S.C. In her online bio she says that applying to be on “The Bachelor” was one of the most outrageous things she’s ever done (along with skydiving) and if she could be a fictional character she’d choose Willy Wonka (“The man had his own chocolate factory!”)
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
The new season of “The Bachelor” premiers Monday, Jan. 1, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
