Food truck festival left people hungry
The inaugural Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival at the SC Farmers Market was such a huge draw that many food lovers couldn’t get into Sunday’s event. Traffic was backed up for miles Sunday afternoon along Hwy 321 to the I-26 exit, and many of the 20 food trucks ran out of goods early.
Festival organizer Anne-Marie Aigner estimated attendance at 12,000 while admitting it was probably closer to 15,000. Many festival-goers reported standing in individual lines for over an hour.
One of the longest lines? For 2 Fat 2 Fly stuffed chicken wings. The food truck currently is the star of a reality show on the OWN network.
