Go Columbia music picks for May 7-13
The Distributors Album Release
After a few decades in the Columbia music scene, Murray Baroody enlisted the help of local bassist Jay Matheson and drummer Steve Sancho in an effort to record some original songs. Along the way, the band bonded and became The Distributors. Their sound doesn’t quite fit in a single genre but falls in a simple rock n’ roll category.
For the band’s official debut and album release party, they are teaming with local artists and bands with similar music including the Dead 27s, Dave Britt and Walk with Porpoise.
This is an all ages show. $10 at the door, $8 advance and $5 for students.
